Koukei Studio is the photographic home of Melbourne based fashion photographer Peter Coulson. It is a huge open plan 540 square meter drive-in studio complex with 2 cycloramas in Kilsyth, Melbourne designed to suit a variety of photographic purposes. This includes fashion, advertising, product, beauty, portrait, and dance.  

It features a huge 8 meter cyclorama, the only Broncolor 8 head Megalight and Broncolor 3.5 meter Parabolic in Australia, studio lighting equipment, lounge area, kitchen with fridge, microwave, hot plate, oven, tea & coffee making facilities, shower, male & female toilets, wardrobe, change room & make-up area and 3 moveable make-up stations. There is 3 phase power, wireless internet, Ethernet connections and a phone. State of the art monitored security system with surveillance cameras. And free parking available. 

No smoking is allowed in any part of the Koukei studio.  

Minors must be supervised at all times.

A 50% deposit is required for all studio bookings. Payment must be made in full on the  

day of hire (this includes but is not limited to, any equipment hire or studio overtime  

rates). In the event of a cancellation, a full refund of the deposit will be provided.  

Cancellations require 48 hours notice. If less than 48 hours notice, the Hirer will incur a  

50% cancellation fee.
